Ia bukan sekadar ganjaran mencari nafkah untuk keluarga semata-mata, bahkan ALLAH SWT juga akan mengampunkan dosa-dosa kita pada hari itu.
Rasulullah SAW bersabda: “Siapa yang pada petang harinya berasa letih daripada amal usaha yang dilakukan dengan kedua tangannya sendiri, maka dia pada petang itu telah diampunkan dosanya.” (Riwayat at-Tabrani)
Sesungguhnya, ALLAH menyukai orang yang penat mencari rezeki yang halal kerana ia juga merupakan satu ibadah yang wajib selepas solat fardu.
Ada satu kisah tentang seorang lelaki yang sangat rajin bekerja ketika zaman Rasulullah SAW.
Baginda dan sahabat melihat kerajinan lelaki ini bekerja, lalu seorang sahabat Nabi Muhammad SAW bertanya: “Wahai Rasulullah, adakah kerajinannya bekerja itu digunakan ke jalan ALLAH?”
Rasulullah SAW menjawab, “Apabila dia keluar mencari rezeki kerana anaknya yang masih kecil, maka dia di jalan ALLAH. Apabila dia keluar mencari rezeki kerana kedua orang tuanya yang sudah berusia lanjut, maka dia di jalan ALLAH. Apabila dia keluar mencari rezeki kerana dirinya sendiri supaya terjaga harga dirinya, maka dia di jalan ALLAH. Apabila dia keluar mencari rezeki kerana riak dan kesombongan, maka dia di jalan syaitan.” (Riwayat al-Mundziri, at-Targhib wa at-Tarhib)
