Penahanan seorang penyanyi nasyid yang disyaki berkaitan barang terlarang semalam telah membongkar aktiviti yang dijalankannya di sebuah kondominium terletak di Kota Damansara.

Menerusi Harian Metro, penyanyi dan komposer berusia 47 tahun itu didapati menanam dan memproses pokok ganja di kediamannya selepas pihak berkuasa melakukan serbuan kira-kira jam 5.30 petang semalam.

17 pokok ganja ditemui

Menurut Ketua Polis Daerah Petaling Jaya Asisten Komisioner Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid, pihak polis telah menemui kira-kira 13 pokok disyaki ganja dalam pasu bunga yang ditanam di dalam sebuah bilik.

“Hasil pemeriksaan di dalam rumah berkenaan menemui 13 pokok dalam pasu disyaki pokok ganja di bahagian bawah sebelah kanan almari di dalam salah sebuah bilik.”

“Kami turut menemui satu lagi pokok dalam pasu disyaki ganja di balkoni rumah dan tiga lagi pokok ganja di dalam almari baju,” katanya.

“Suspek dipercayai menanam pokok ganja berkenaan dengan membeli sendiri benih dan belajar menanamnya melalui media sosial sejak dua bulan lalu.”

“Berdasarkan pengakuan suspek, pokok ganja itu ditanam untuk kegunaan sendiri. Kami masih menyiasat dari mana suspek memperoleh bekalan benih berkenaan,” jelasnya.

Untuk makluman, saringan awal air kencing penyanyi nasyid itu juga mendapati dirinya positif ganja dan pihak polis mengesahkan dia mempunyai sejarah penagihan dadah sejak 10 tahun lalu.

Walau bagaimanapun, suspek tidak mempunyai sebarang rekod jenayah dan kes akan  disiasat mengikut Seksyen 39B Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1952.
